I created The Storied Stitch with one simple belief: that the things we make by hand carry pieces of our lives within them.

​

Every creation has a story.

A reason it was started.
A moment it was stitched through.
A memory woven quietly into the work.

When I crochet, sew, or embroider, I’m not simply making something beautiful or practical. I’m telling the story of where I’ve been, what I’ve loved, what I’ve carried with me, and what I hope lasts.

I think that’s true for all makers.

​

A handmade piece holds time differently. It remembers the hands that shaped it.
